Our Values
Our Process
Estimate + Deposit
After your in-person estimate, you will receive a detailed proposal for your project. To book a spot in our schedule, we require a 25% deposit & authorization by signature to do the work described in the proposal and contract.
Color Consultation
Once you reserve your spot on your calendar, we will be in touch to schedule your in-person color consultation.
During your color consultation, we will discuss tools, resources, and review your color inspiration to narrow down your color palette.
Once we have narrowed down the colors, we will order complimentary 8" X 11" color sheets that will come straight to your mailbox!
HOA Approval (exterior only)
If you are painting the exterior of your home with us, we will provide support during the HOA approval process by contacting your HOA on your behalf, getting signatures if needed from neighbors, and submitting the colors selected.
Book your Start Date
Once you have selected your colors and they have been approved by your homeowners' association, it is time to schedule a rough start date!
The Week Before
In the week leading up to your job, you can expect phone calls to keep you updated on the estimated start date and any changes due to weather or unforeseen delays in our work schedule.
Please keep in mind that we can see all four seasons in one day in North Carolina, so we request that you understand that your start date may change slightly.
During The Job
We will let you know what time you can expect us to start work each day. We will talk with you daily about the progress of the job and any concerns so we can address those right away.
Final Walk-Through
Once all painting is complete, we will do a final walk-through together and correct any touch-ups needed before the final invoice is sent.

HIGHLY recommend working with Oak City Coatings! My house needed exterior painting as well as carpentry work done on rotted siding and it looks brand new after working with Oak City Coatings.
